It may be recalled that in October 2014, D&AD had announced that from the 2015 Professional Awards onwards, it will award Wood (formerly ‘In Book’) and Graphite Pencils (formerly ‘Nomination’), bringing them into line with the Yellow, White and Black Pencil structure.
The new Pencils are designed by Turner Duckworth and will be incorporated across all of D&AD’s Award programmes, including the New Blood Awards and the new Next series of Awards, launched in 2014.
