Chraneeta Mann, National Creative Director – Regional at Rediffusion Y&R, has quit the agency. Her last day at the agency was Friday, April 3, 2015. The development was confirmed by sources at the agency.

Mann was appointed National Creative Director – Regional in December 2013 when she was given charge of the Delhi and Bangalore offices of Rediffusion Y&R. She was reporting to Komal Bedi Sohal, Chief Creative Officer at Rediffusion Y&R.

Mann was selected in January this year to be part of the Grand Jury of the New York Festivals International Advertising Awards competition for the World's Best Advertising.

Mann majored in Economics and had gone on to train for classical vocal music. She sung jingles and did voiceovers before trying her hand at advertising. She has been part of the journey that created India's largest telecom brand Airtel. Over the years, she has worked on creating campaigns for almost every category from automobiles to insurance, banking, beauty, health supplementation, telecom, appliances, apparel and even alternative energy.

Her 16-year career in advertising also includes time spent creating a 30-episode TV series for a leading entertainment channel. She is a lyricist and a screenplay writer as well. Besides, she has served as juror on the Abbys.
