Dentsu Creative Impact has brought on board Hitesh Jain as Creative Director. He joined his new assignment from March 23, 2015 and will be based at the agency’s Gurgaon office. He has moved from JWT Delhi where he was Creative Director.
To begin with, he will be handling 2-3 car brands of Maruti Suzuki. It may be mentioned here that the entire Maruti portfolio is now with Dentsu.
On joining Dentsu Creative Impact, Jain said, “Dentsu has a very transparent structure and a flat hierarchy. I will be working along with Soumitra. I am not someone who is bothered about what brands one works on, I am a guy who works on strategy.”
Jain had joined JWT India in August 2011 and had worked on the Airtel and Hero accounts, among others, including the ‘Nain Mataka’ campaign for Hero Glamour bike.
Jain has a very interesting anecdote to share on how he entered the field of advertising and landed his first job with Ogilvy & Mather Mumbai in July 2004.
After a stint of around four and a half years, he joined TBWA as Copy Supervisor in July 2009. Ten months later, he moved on to Wieden + Kennedy as Senior Creative before joining JWT.
