Tracking one of India's most elusive and endangered animals, Animal Planet will shine the spotlight on the majestic tiger. Animal Planet will celebrate the tigers through its month-long programming line-up – 'Where Tigers Rule'. Airing every night at 9 pm in March, 'Where Tigers Rule' will explore the evolution of the tiger, its secret behaviour, why it is such a successful hunter and the way it has adapted to very different environments.

Bollywood actors Irrfan Khan and Nargis Fakhri have joined hands to support Animal Planet's initiative and to raise awareness about the threats affecting tigers' survival. They will bring focus to the role that humans can play in saving these powerful beasts.

Narrating gripping tales of wildlife in danger and inspiring stories of tiger conservation – Valmik Thapar, Alphonse Roy, Chris Morgan, Saba Douglas Hamilton, and Steve Backshall, among others, 'Where Tigers Rule' will uncover the colourful secrets behind the elusive world of tigers.

Irrfan Khan added here, “Tigers are very crucial for our ecosystem. Their conservation is a collective responsibility. I aim to raise consciousness amongst audience in securing the future of these beautiful animals.”

Nargis Fakhri added here, “'Where Tigers Rule' would help viewers understand the elusive lifestyle of tigers and raise awareness about the grave situation of the dwindling tiger population. Let's pledge to save our wildernesses to make the world a safe place for this supreme cat.”

In its previous years, Animal Planet's 'Where Tigers Rule' has gained support from Bollywood celebrities like Ajay Devgn, Bipasha Basu, John Abraham, Chitrangada Singh and Abhay Deol. The cause also gained affiliation from Olympic Gold medalist Abhinav Bindra, filmmaker Mike Pandey and conservationist Belinda Wright.

'Where Tigers Rule' episodes include the 'Tiger Sisters of Telia', which captures the extraordinary behaviour of four tiger sisters in the forests of Maharashtra and their unique adaptation to survive. 'Hunt for the Russian Tiger' follows filmmaker Sooyong Park, who spent five years of loneliness in Russia's Far East to get glimpses of Siberian tigers. Tireless efforts of tiger conservationists like Belinda Wright, Valmik Thapar and Raghu Chundawat, examine the latest round of tiger conservation in 'The Battle to Save the Tiger'. 'Return of the Tiger' reveals an intimate insight into the private lives of tigers as they rehabilitate in Sariska and encounter new challenges in their new home.

'Where Tigers Rule' will air from March 1 to 31, every night at 9 pm, only on Animal Planet.
