IDBI Federal Life Insurance and Big FM launch ‘Badon ki Pathshala’

IDBI Federal Life Insurance and radio network Big FM launched an innovative concept ‘Badon ki Pathshala’, building on the success of IDBI Federal Childsurance Radio Film Festival.

Being a parent is a tough task. Young parents move from one challenge to the other. Keeping this in mind, IDBI Federal, launched ‘Badon Ki Pathshala’ to help young parents tackle issues related to their children. In the segment, which literally means ‘classroom for parents’, tips about good parenting were shared.

Commenting on the campaign, a spokesperson from Big FM, said, “Our association with IDBI Federal Life Insurance has opened newer avenues in innovative programming strategies and ‘Badon ki Pathshala’ has been appreciated by young and soon to-be parents. We are delighted to have been a part of their journey and help them realize the importance of financial planning for their young ones.”

A spokesperson from IDBI Federal Life Insurance said, “Our main objective through the child campaign has been to educate young parents about the importance of financial planning for their children's future. With the channel’s extensive reach and programming innovation, ‘Badon ki Pathshala’ turned out to be a complete hit amongst young and soon to-be parents. It was successful in driving home the significance of a systematic financial plan for the bright future of kids.”

The key highlight of ‘Badon ki Pathshala’ was the 3- member expert panel that discussed topics varying from separation and stranger anxiety, eating disorders, argumentative behaviour to name a few and shared their opinions on the topic on-air, before taking related queries of young or soon to-be parents who called from across 11 Indian cities namely Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Trivandrum, Hyderabad, Kanpur, Chandigarh, Indore and Jamshedpur.

Parents had the chance to speak to experts from different fields namely a child psychologist, financial planner, a celeb-mom and an RJ of the city, to ensure a 360- degree view of their respective behavioral issues and financial planning.

Raveena Tandon, a well- known celebrity mom was a hit among the parents across Big FM’s Hindi speaking markets. A mom of two growing kids, Tandon was excited to be a part of this innovative campaign. She said, “Parenting comes with lots of responsibilities and challenges. Along with securing our child’s future financially, it is very important to make them learn to value the hard work we put in to earn something.”

Popular Telugu actress Shilpa Chakrabarty in Hyderabad, Sudharani in Bangalore, Tamil celeb-mom Sangeetha in Chennai and Meneka in Trivandrum also shared their knowledge and experiences on air.The hour long show launched on October 12 and was on air for 3 weeks on Big FM.
