Adfest 2016 will once again take place at the Royal Cliff Hotels Group in Pattaya, a beachside city located on Thailand's eastern Gulf coast just one hour's drive from Bangkok from March 16 to 19. The theme for the festival is 'Creative Intelligence' through which experts and industry veterans will explore solutions for a fast changing world.

“Creative Intelligence is all about finding better solutions in a world that is constantly changing through technological innovation,” said Jimmy Lam, President of Adfest.

“Our industry needs people who not only process information and crunch data but also tell stories and engage minds, and that is the goal of Adfest 2016. Festival goers will learn how to harness their creative intelligence, and come away excited by the possibilities for the future,” he added.

As is the tradition, this year's Jury President of Design – Thailand's very own Pum Lefebure, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Design Army in Washington DC – will design the Adfest 2016 icon. Lefebure will unveil next year's icon later this month.

Vinit Suraphongchai, Chairman of Adfest, said, “Technology is transformational to some yet confusing to others. How can you reach new audiences? How do you discover a new direction rather than stick to a safe passage? How do you connect the dots and find out what's important to people? Adfest 2016 will answer some of these questions, and it will touch on some of the industry's newest obsessions like Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, with the goal of helping us all to become more intelligent creatives.”

Entries to the Adfest 2016 Lotus Awards can now be submitted via www.ADFEST.com. The deadline for entries is Friday 15th January 2016, with the exception of six categories that will be judged remotely: Other Film (in- Film Lotus); Radio Lotus; Interactive Lotus; Mobile Lotus; Integrated Lotus; and INNOVA Lotus. The entry deadline for these six categories is Friday 8th January 2016.
