Keeping in mind the forthcoming festive season, Zindagi is all set to launch a slew of telefilms in the coming weeks, starting October 18, 2015.

As part of its 'Zindagi ke Rang, Zindagi ke sang' offering, the channel will be airing six telefilms over the course of six Sundays at 12.00 noon and 9.00 pm.

The first of these telefilms is 'Saaya', which will go on air on Sunday, October 18, at 12.00 noon and 9.00 pm. The film captures the drama and essence that almost every family goes through. Starring Ayeza Khan, Shahzad Sheikh and Qavi Khan, 'Saaya' is a family drama of a wife trying to separate her husband from his father.

The following Sunday (October 25) will mark the return of veteran actress Samina Peerzada on the small screen with 'Zindagi Ab Bhi Muskurati Hai'. Adnan Siddiqui plays the role of her son. This telefilm highlights how Tipu, a man who hates his nation because of his past, develops a fondness for it due to some incidents.

'Behadd', which will air on November 1, stars popular Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. It narrates a heart wrenching yet progressive story of a mother (Nadia Jamil) who is willing to let go of the love of her life for her daughter.

'Khamosh Mohabbat' will air on November 8. The telefilm, which stars Sara Batool and Humayun Ashraf in lead roles, highlights how we never value those who value us until we lose them.

'Yeh Chand Na Sharma Jaye' will air on November 15. It is a story about a man fearing his brother-in-law at home and his boss in the office and the hilarious turns this fear takes.

The telefilm festival will culminate on November 22 with 'Ishq Wala Love', a story about a rich guy who falls in love with a poor girl due to deception. The telefilm stars Mehwish Hayat and Asfar Rehman in the lead roles.

Commenting on the channel's latest offering, Priyanka Datta,Cluster Head - Zindagi & FTA Hindi GEC, said, “With the festive season on the anvil, we believe it's the perfect time to introduce Zindagi's Teletime to our audience. We are optimistic that this would be a welcome addition to the revelry and celebrations that the season has to offer. At Zindagi, our endeavour has been to present content that is fresh, engaging and entertaining. With Zindagi's Teletime, we extend our promise by bringing six different genres and story-lines to our viewers.”
