The OTT service is said to be a first from any multi-service operator (MSO) in India

Asianet announced the launch of the OTT service at the commencement of Onam celebrations in Dubai on August 22, 2015. With this launch, Asianet claims to be the first MSO in the country to launch an OTT service.

Asianet Mobile TV will offer live content streaming of popular Malayalam channels through the app on any Android or Apple devices. It will be available in Windows soon. Twenty Malayalam channels with a mix of rich content in Entertainment, News, Travel, Lifestyle, and Spiritual will be available, along with radio channels.
