TVF-logoYouTube, Google's online video arm, recently organised the first ever Global Top Creators Summit and 4th edition of Brandcast in New York. This summit witnessed the presence of creators and companies like John Green, Vice, Complex Media, Universal Studios, and BuzzFeed, etc., along with other stalwarts from the advertising world. The Viral Fever (TVF), the online network from TVF Group, was the only Indian representative at this event.

Talking about this Summit, Arunabh Kumar, Founder & Group CEO, The Viral Fever, expressed, “It is an incredible experience to be a part of this initiative and it's been very enriching to share space with some of the biggest brands and stalwarts from the industry.” He further said, “It's a privilege for TVF to be the only Indian content creator Studio in this Summit, as it had always been the ambition of the group to make an impact globally in all form of media and content. It is very fulfilling to see our dream come true.”

The Global Top Creators Summit and Brandcast brings together all the biggest players in the online content ecosystem like creators, advertising & media agencies, and brands on one platform to deliberate on current trends, strategise on best practices and identify key drivers for the growth.

The Summit this year coincided with 10 years of YouTube, hence it included sessions on the last 10 years' journey of YouTube, enormous rise of engaged users on the video platform across genres, how traditional media companies like Universal Studios are using it for marketing, with insights shared by Susan Wojcicki, CEO, YouTube and Josh Goldstine, President - Worldwide Marketing, Universal Pictures.

The Viral Fever claims that its flagship YouTube channel, 'TheViralFeverVideos', is the first YouTube based channel to reach a million subscribers with original content. The idea behind the launch of the network was to reach out to the younger generation who seldom watch the television to either pass the time or for entertainment.

They have diversified into drama with the branded web series 'Permanent Roommates'. TVF-ONE today has a set of premium channels across genres like Comedy, Drama, Non-Fiction, Adventure and Pranks and claims to serve almost 2 million users. Some of the popular content properties of TVF-ONE include, 'Barely speaking with Arnub', 'Permanent Roommates', 'Qtiyapa', and 'Rowdies'.
