RK Arora quits News Nation as CEO

Arora moves on after a short stint of six months with the channel. Pooja Gupta, VP – Brand & Corporate Communications, has also put in her papers

After a short stint of six months as CEO of News Nation, RK Arora has called it quits. He is expected to join his next assignment by the end of this month. Pooja Gupta, VP – Brand & Corporate Communications, also put in her papers yesterday along with Arora.

It may be recalled that both Arora and Gupta had joined News Nation on December 15, 2014 from iTV Network where he was Group CEO. He had joined iTV Network in November 2012 as CEO – Broadcasting and was elevated to Group CEO in August 2014.

Prior to iTV Network, he was CEO of BAG Network (News 24, E24 and Darshan 24). Before that, Arora was associated with India TV since its inception.

A Chartered Accountant by profession, Arora has over 20 years of experience in distribution, finance and profitability of companies.
