With the release of the first tranche of ratings data by Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC), the numbers are in for the ongoing Pepsi IPL tournament. In the latest week (Week 3 of IPL), the tournament has boosted the gross ratings of Sony Max to 225 million (Source: BARC, summation over 30 minute time bands, Market: HSM, TG: All HHs, Period: Wk16 | All Days).

The ratings showed Sony Max recording prime time rating of 99 million. Colors followed with a rating of 59 million, while Star Plus recorded a rating of 45 million.

At the all India level, this week's average rating of IPL was 3.316 million, while at an HSM level, the average rating stands at 2.532 million (Source: BARC, across Pepsi IPL matches, Channel: Sony Max+Six+Six HD+Aath, Market: All India, TG: All HHs, Period: Wk16 | All Days).
