Mission-Everest

NDTV Good Times premiered a new reality adventure show, 'Kingfisher Blue Mile - Mission Mount Everest', on March 14, 2015. The show will air every Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm.

The show is a hunt for a team of nine daredevil adventures that will take on the base camp trek for the highest mountain in the world – Mount Everest Base Camp. Handpicked through a series of adventure laden campouts from all across the country, these adrenalin junkies will push their limits to trek to Mt Everest Base Camp.

The adventurists will be mentored by world record holding mountaineer twins Tashi and Nungshi Malik. Trekking alongside the explorers will be actor Gul Panag.

Each campout will have three to four adventure activities. The participants will be judged on the basis of their adventure quotient, from water-based activities and rope activities to climbing skills. They will also be marked on the basis of their physical, mental and emotional strengths and most importantly, the stamina and endurance each individual will portray. These campouts have been conducted across India – Delhi to Bangalore, Kerala to Shillong – selecting the nine most deserving climbers.
