Ask-Me-logoAskme, the online search platform from GetitInfomedia, has brought on board J. Walter Thompson as its creative agency to help the brand further strengthen its emerging leadership in the Indian digital platform and e-commerce space. With ATL and digital marketing spends of Rs 350 crore, JWT has been appointed creative agency on record for Askme, including Askme Bazaar amd AskmeFreeads.

Askme had called for a multi-agency pitch, where several well-known agencies participated over three months. JWT was entrusted with the creative duties for the next marketing campaign basis the creative ideas presented to the team.

The integrated platform that provides local merchants, search, deals, classified & commerce, all packed in one app as Askme launched last year in July with Ranbir Kapoor as brand ambassador. Askme is also building high transaction and consumption led verticals across fashion, wellness, education, travel, and food with a unique advantage of local contextual commerce while consuming content across blogs, images, articles and videos. Askme also launched a similar platform in Malaysia and is looking at launching in more countries across South Asia and South East Asia.
