Eros International has appointed Ajit Thakur as CEO to spearhead the companyâs new motion pictures production company, Trinity Pictures. He has joined the leadership team at Eros and will be in charge of Trinity Picturesâ endeavour to invest in developing intellectual property in-house.
Prior to joining Eros, Thakur held a number of key positions at companies such as Coca-Cola and Unilever, UTV, Sony Television and most recently, Star TV.Â He had resigned from the position of EVP & General Manager, Life OK & Channel [v], after a three-year stint in the organisation in December 2014.
Jyoti Deshpande, CEO, Eros International Group, remarked, âWe are excited about taking a big creative initiative with Trinity and warmly welcome Ajit to join the Eros family to drive this initiative with his wealth of experience and successful track record.
