Alive partners Delhi Press to give Augmented Reality experience to its readers

Readers of magazines like Sarita, Saras Salil and others will get access to an of array of multi-media content on their mobile phones

Alive-logoAlive, the augmented realty app by Times Internet, has tied up with Delhi Press Magazines, which publishes magazines such as Sarita, Grihshobha, and Saras Salil, among others. With this partnership, Alive marks its foray into vernacular and Hindi print media.

Now, readers of Hindi magazines such as Sarita, Grihshobha and Saras Salil would get access to an array of exciting videos, picture stories and other value added content via Alive mobile app. This partnership will also cover other popular genre magazines from Delhi Press Magazines such as kids story book Champak, literary magazine Carvan, and automobile magazine Motoring.

Commenting on this, V Natarajan, Senior Vice President (Marketing & Corporate Strategy), Delhi Press Magazines, said, “With Alive AR, we now have a great platform to syndicate print with digital content. We can now offer a wider variety of content in different formats – for example, videos on making a certain cuisine to readers of Grihshobha. We are one of the first publications in Hindi to leverage the Augmented Reality app. We are sure our readers would love the experience.”

Over the last 18 months, Alive AR has been regularly augmenting print stories of The Times of India, NBT, Mumbai Mirror, Filmfare, Femina, Hello and Grazia. More recently, Alive AR has also been adopted by leading publishing houses for popular media brands such as Cine Blitz, Hi Blitz, Auto Car, Auto X, Maxim and Evo.
