Singh succeeds Tushar Goculdas who has been elevated as Brand Director - Emerging Markets

Adidas Group has announced the appointment of Damyant Singh as Brand Director of Adidas in India. Singh will report directly to Dave Thomas, Managing Director of Adidas Group India. He succeeds Tushar Goculdas, who was recently appointed Brand Director - Emerging Markets. Prior to his new mandate, he was the Head of Category Marketing for Adidas in India.
Dave Thomas, MD, Adidas Group India, said, âDamyant is a very experienced marketing professional and has broad experience and strong knowledge of the Adidas brand, the Indian sports market and consumers. I am very confident that with him leading the marketing for Adidas in India, we will see the brand reach new heights in the coming months and years.â
As Brand Director, he will be responsible to deliver a strategic roadmap to further sharpen and strengthen the Adidas brand in India. His mandate will include implementation of insightful and enriching consumer experiences, building on the existing world class athlete portfolio and seamless execution of brand campaigns to effectively reach out to Adidas consumers across the country.
Singh joined the Adidas sports marketing team in 2004. A press note from the company informed that he has led different assignments and contributed immensely to the overall growth and popularity of the brand in the country.
