Den Networks has appointed Pradeep Parameswaran as Chief Executive Officer. Parameswaran fills the position vacated by SN Sharma, who put in his papers in September last year.
Parameswaran joins Den from McKinsey and Co. where he was Partner and was leading the Telecoms, Media and Technology practice in India and of the Operations and Technology function within Telecoms, Media and Technology in Asia.
Though an industry outsider, Parameswaran is familiar with the distribution business as he was involved with the digitisation process when MSOs sought the help of McKinsey to help them to put in place a robust billing and collection process in Delhi.
Parameswaran holds an engineering degree from Mumbai University with a Masters in Management Studies from Jamnalal Bajaj and an MBA from Vanderbilt University in the US. Besides McKinsey, he has also worked with Hindustan Unilever and AT Kearney.
