Ogilvy Mumbai has announced the appointment of four Senior Creative Directors. They will be based in Mumbai and report to the senior creative and business heads in the agency.

Commenting on the new appointments, Abhijit Avasthi, National Creative Director, Ogilvy India, said, “Last few months have been fabulous for us with lots of new biz coming in. In order to bolster our creative strength we have brought in these stars. Each of them has a unique way of thinking which will enrich Ogilvy greatly.”

Neville Shah, appointed as Group Creative Director, is a postgraduate from Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication and completed Copywriting at The Creative Circus in Atlanta, USA. His work experience spans across companies like MTV India and MTV Indies, Commonwealth Worldwide, McCann Worldgroup, Creativeland Asia, JWT, Mudra, TBWA, McCann-Erickson, The Times of India Group, JAM, 107.1 FM Rainbow and The Company Theatre. Shah has worked on Indian and multinational brands such as Chevrolet, Set Max, Standard Chartered Bank, Nissan, Airtel, Philips, ESPN, Star Sports, Bajaj Allianz, Parle Agro, Dabur, ITC and several more.

Shah's talent as an actor, producer and stand-up comedy has led to his involvement in the movie 'Malabar Cadillac' and the documentary 'The Old Elephant Route' and several productions at national and international level. He is an active member of The Laugh Club, Comedy Store as also a part of the SNG Comedy. In his spare time he is a guest lecturer at SIMC teaching advertising, film and drama.

Syed Mohammed Talha Nazim, also appointed as Senior Creative Director, has spent the first 19 years of his career (since the age of 19!) in Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore and Kuala Lumpur. Having worked in agencies such as Burnett and McCann on prestigious clients like Chevrolet, BMW, Fiat, Petronas, Coca-Cola, Nescafe, Dutch Lady, Aircel, McDonalds, to name some, he chose to return to Mumbai when Ogilvy beckoned.

Nazim's philosophy is 'Work hard. Be good. Miracles will happen'. The results: 170 and odd regional and international metals and nominations (finalists) at most major shows such as Cannes, D&AD, The One Show, Clio, LIA, Andys, Adfest, Spikes, New York Festivals and the Indian Abbys. The Gunn Report listed his work as one of the most awarded pieces in 2004 and 2013. In 2006, Campaign Brief Asia ranked him among the top 10 Creatives in India. In 2014, The One Show ranked him No. 2 as a Creative Director, and No. 6 as writer and art director in the world.

In his spare time Nazim pursues collecting the 'new' which has recently resulted in him developing a mobile app along with a friend that'll be launched shortly.

Mahesh Madhukar Parab, appointed as Senior Creative Director, is a BFA graduate from Sir JJ Institute of Applied Art. Parab has worked with agencies such as Da'Cunha Communications, Ambience Publicis, McCann Erickson, DDB Mudra and Contract Advertising. His work experiences spans across Indian and multinational brands such as Amul, Western Union, Siemens, HUL, Marico, Reliance, Yellow Pages, Hanes, Tata Indicom, BPL Mobile, NEO, Star Plus, Edelweiss, Tata Motor International, Asian Paints, Cadbury's, Bata, Yamaha, Dabur, Wrigley's, UTI Bank, Kotak Bank, to name a few.

Parab is an accomplished visualiser and has received recognition at Cannes (11 Silver for Onida alone), One Show, D&AD Annual, Communication Arts, Clio, Adfest, Spikes Asia, Creative Abby awards and AAAI Awards. His creative work has also earned a place in The Work.

Talha Bin Mohsin, the fourth newly appointed Senior Creative Director, is a postgraduate in Communication which he did after his Bachelors in International Business & Finance. Mohsin has worked with agencies such as Contract, DDB Mudra, Leo Burnett and McCann Erickson. His work experience covers brands such as Coca-Cola, National Geographic Channel, Schneider Electric, Philips Lighting, HBO, McDonald's, Dabur, Godrej, Big Bazaar, Maharashtra Tourism, Parachute, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Barclays Bank, Radio Mirchi, Mediker, Twinings, Wrigley's (Boomer & Orbit), Yamaha, Bata, Cadbury (Choclairs, Halls), Asian Paints (Tractor, Apcolite), and Tata Motors.

Mohsin has earned his stripes with recognition at Adfest, Cannes, Effie, AAAI, New York Festivals and Radio Mirchi Kaan Awards. He was ranked No.1 Creative Director in The Creative Rankings 2012, and ranked No. 22 in The Work Creative Rankings 2012.
