Six creative professionals chosen for AFAA programme in Kuala Lumpur

The Advertising Council of India (ACI) selected the winners for the 'Fast Track' programme after shortlisting entries received in response to a nationwide contest followed by an interview process

afaaThe Advertising Council of India (ACI) whose members are the Indian Society of Advertisers (ISA), the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI), the Indian Broadcasters Foundation (IBF), the International Advertising Association (IAA) and The Advertising Club, is sponsoring six professionals for a special 'Fast Track' programme curated by the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations (AFAA). The programme will be run in Kuala Lumpur from July 10 to 13, 2014.

The six professionals who were selected by a process involving shortlisting from entries received in response to a nationwide contest followed by an interview process conducted in multiple cities are: Natasha Dingra, Aidem Mumbai; Saudamini Junnarkar, Lowe & Partners, Pune; Yogesh Mehta, Ceat India, Mumbai; Mayukh Guha Thakurta, CreativeLand Asia, Mumbai; Rose Ann Francis, Purplemango, Bangalore; and Naina Rajpal, Geek, a digital agency in Bangalore.

Pradeep Guha, Chairman of AFAA, speaking on behalf of the ACI, said, “We see this effort as our way of helping develop talent and ultimately enriching our industry. We were planning on sending four professionals, but the quality of the applicants was so good, we ended up selecting six. I am personally glad they represent the diversity that exists in the communications industry and am confident they will have a great experience.”
