The hotness and the oomph quotient of MTV, the popular youth channel, is all set to rise to a new high with the launch of Season 7 of MTV Splitsvilla. The popular youth show this time will be co-hosted by none other than the gorgeous and sensuous Sunny Leone and MTV Nikhil Chinapa. Splitsvilla 7 is slated to go on air from June 14, 2014 at 7 PM and will be telecast every Saturday. It will be replacing the channel's hottest property, 'Roadies'.

The beautiful location of Jaipur and the romantic Samode Palace add charm to the theme of this season which is 'fairy tale romance'. The format this time has gone in for a change as 20 hot girls will be seen wooing seven male celebrities. The boys this season are Ayaz Ahmed, Abhishek Malik, Ashwini Kaul, Mayank Gandhi, Mayank Pawar, Rishabh Sinha and Shravan Reddy. There will be 13 episodes of one hour each.

Commenting on the marketing of the show, Aditya Swamy, EVP and Business Head of MTV, said, “MTV Splitsvilla has entertained around 50 million young Indians in each season. The last season got the highest viewership of more than 65 million people. Splitsvilla has created a landmark and other romantic reality shows have been born after this. We have started with the digital marketing for now, and will extend it to the other mainstream mediums with the launch of the show. Three interesting digital engagements we are doing at our end are 'Splitsvilla Battleground' where one person in Splitsvilla gets selected from the digital audience; 'Splits Snapper' where a contest was conducted to pick one official photographer who will go inside the villa and shoot pictures. And, finally, 'Break up Diaries', where we do the stories of Splitsvilla men discussing the good and bad of their relationships to let the audience know them better.”

“Thus the marketing strategy which we are following for Splitsvilla is 'surround sound', as we believe that people today are always consuming information from all the channels of communication. So until and unless we surround them with sound, we won't be able to get their attention,” Swamy added.

Vikas Gupta, Content & Programming Head of MTV India, who has come on board for the first time for Splitsvilla, said, “I believe this show is different from the other reality shows as here you will get to feel the love and heartbreaks, and see what happens when love is in the air amidst competition. It is a different genre all together. The new format with seven male celebrities, Sunny Leonne and 20 girls, all in one romantic villa, is bound to accentuate the glam factor of the show.”

Sunny Leone, on her part, said, “With the show all set to launch, I'm more excited than ever. Having watched MTV Splitsvilla in the past, it's a great experience to now be a part of it. I'm really happy to be associating with MTV once again, and I look forward to a great time and hope the contestants find true love as that would be the real win.”

The title sponsor of the show is Killer and the three 'powered by' sponsors are Manforce, FOGG and Karbonn.
