94.3 Radio One has launched its all new campaign by releasing a song 'Just Kick It' for football lovers in India. The peppy song has been composed, produced and released by the in-house team of the radio station and has Vineet Singh Hukmani, MD & CEO of Radio One, as the lead singer in the video! With Nike confirming their sponsorship, the show on Radio One will now be called 'Nike Football n More with Radio One'.

Anil-Machado“The campaign will run in seven Radio One cities beginning before the FIFA World Cup matches in Brazil and will continue right across the year highlighting all the major football tournaments to come,” said, Anil Machado, Chief Programming Officer, Radio One.

The team is working towards building a very long-term base with the football lovers in India throughout the year and is not planned just for the World Cup. Plans to bring more brands and celebrities on board will be revealed soon.

“The main aim from this campaign is long-lasting engagement with football lovers and also to benefit our client partners. We decided to do something different, unlike the usual promotional route adopted by several media companies of providing free air tickets as prizes to a handful of lucky ones while the others are left disappointed,” said Saurabh Sehgal, Chief Sales officer, Radio One.

The 'Radio One. Football n More' page on Facebook with 22,000 fans till now has been started to create buzz around football. The new video went viral instantly with 13,000 views on YouTube and 2,500 likes on Facebook in four days (www.facebook.com/FootballnMore). One can also download the song 'Just Kick It' free of cost by texting FB to 53650/53636. The Radio One band also plans to perform live soon for its fans.
