India TV has managed to pull off a scoop that no other mainstream news channel has been able to do in this election season. Editor-in-Chief of India TV, Rajat Sharma, has managed to get Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on his popular talk show 'Aap Ki Aadalat', which will be telecast on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 10 PM.

Modi, who has been regularly criticised by opposition leaders for avoiding one-on-one TV interviews, would be seen taking some really tough questions on 'Aap Ki Aadalat'. However, it won't be Modi's first interview as he has already given an interview to regional news network ETV but that was largely seen as a very soft interview as the channel refrained from asking tough questions on the Godhra riots and Snoopgate.

For India TV, which recently relaunched itself with a premium look, it would be the biggest scoop in the already heated election season when all news channels are vying to get exclusive interviews with top leaders.

Modi's rival Rahul Gandhi, who has also been reluctant to give interviews, gave his first interview to Arnab Goswami of Times Now in January that created quite a flutter in the political scene.
