Star Plus continued to rule weekday programming with six shows in the top 10 list in Week 8 of TAM 2014. According to TVT data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 8 of TAM 2014 (February 16 – February 22) CS 4+, HSM markets, Colors retained two slots in the top 10 leaving one slot each for Zee TV and SAB TV.

Colors continued to hold the top two weekend slots with 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' and 'India's Got Talent'. DID Grand Finale on Zee TV fetched 6.1 TVM over three and a half hours.

The week saw two new weekend shows launched on Star Plus where its latest comedy offering, 'Mad in India', opened at 5.7 TVM while its thriller show, 'Ishq Kills', opened at 1.9 TVM.

The television premiere of 'Ramleela' on Sony garnered 9 TVM over three and a half hours pushing the channel to No. 4 in week 8.

Weekday toppers (all data in TVM, 000000's)

Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus remained at the top with 12.6 TVM this week (last week 13.3 TVM).

Jodha Akbar on Zee TV was the second most watched show during the week with an average viewership of 10.8 TVM (last week 11.6 TVM).

Star Plus' Saathiya held the No. 3 position with 9.8 TVM (last week 9.9).

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus held its No. 4 position with an average viewership of 8.5 TVM (last week 8.3 TVM).

SAB's Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma witnessed a little drop in viewership for its original telecast but the repeat telecast of the show made a huge contribution to the channel's gross viewership. The show held No. 5 position with an average viewership of 7.3 TVM against last week's 7.7 TVM.

Pyaar Ka Dard Hai on Star Plus remained at No. 6 position but its average viewership dropped to 6.9 TVM (last week 7.7 TVM).

Star Plus' epic series, Mahabharat, too witnessed a drop in viewership but the show retained its No. 7 position. It garnered 6.9 TVM this week (last week 7.5 TVM).

Balika Vadhu on Colors held No. 8 position. The show garnered an average viewership of 6.4 TVM (last week 6.8 TVM).

Veera on Star Plus held its viewership at 6.3 TVM and position at No. 9 (last week 6.3 TVM).

Colors' second show in the top 10 was Sasural Simar Ka with an average viewership of 5.9 TVM (last week 6.1 TVM).

Weekend toppers

Comedy Night with Kapil on Colors strengthened its position with an average viewership of 9.6 TVM in Week 8 (last week 9.1).

Colors' India's Got Talent held the eyeballs with 6.7 TVM (last week 6.6).

Mad in India on Star Plus debuted at 5.7 TVM.

The Grand Finale of Dance India Dance Season 4 on Zee TV fetched 6.1 TVM. It had an average viewership of 4.9 TVM (last week 4.1 TVM).

Sony's crime series, CID, fetched 4.6 TVM against last week's 4.6 TVM.

Sony's second crime show, Crime Patrol, garnered 3.7 TVM (last week 3.7).

Life OK's Shapath recorded 3.5 TVM (last week 4.1).

Hatim on Life OK fetched 3.2 TVM (last week 3.4).

Fear Files on Zee TV was unmoved and recorded 2.7 TVM (last week 3).

Boogie Woogie on Sony improved its ratings to 1.9 TVM (last week 2.4).

Ishq Kills on Star Plus opened at 1.9 TVM.
