Sushant Panda has resigned from his position as CEO & Managing Partner at Havas WW India and is currently serving his notice period through to March 31, 2014 to assist in a smooth transition.

An established team already in place at the agency has been tasked to lead Havas Worldwide India to assure continuity. The agency will now be managed by its Management Committee, comprising Satbir Singh, Chief Creative Officer and Managing Partner, Shavon Barua, President, South and West, Sandeep Gupta, Chief Financial Officer, and Sourav Ray, Chief Strategy Officer, under the guidance and leadership of Anish Gupta, who has been appointed Chairman (Non-Executive).

The committee has established relationships with Havas Worldwide clients and consists of industry veterans with brand strategy experience across a diverse range of industries. As a result, the agency will remain on track in its commitment to clients with little disruption during the change. In 2014, the Management Committee will implement an ambitious expansion strategy, drawing on the core strengths of the Havas WW network, with a particular emphasis on Digital and Healthcare.

Juan Rocamora, Chairman, Havas WW Asia Pacific, said, “We thank Sushant for his contribution in leading Havas over the last three years of his seven-year tenure and I understand his desire to build his career outside of Havas going forward. We wish him all the best.”
