Fork-Media-logoFork Media, India's largest premium audience network, has made a foray into the international market with the launch of its Dubai operations. After a successful year and half in India, Fork Media, which is a part of Ant Farm, a tech and media innovation company, has announced plans to expand operations to international markets and will look at other emerging digital markets including Singapore and Indonesia.

Fork Media has already established partnerships with several publications in the GCC region, including Sports360, Elle Arabia, Motivate group and the Khaleej Times.

Commenting on the aggressive growth plan, Fork Media's Founder and CEO, Samar Verma, said, "We are confident of replicating the success we have had in India. I think the very fact that we are in the business of creating alternative inventory and incremental value for publishers makes us unique enough for pretty much every market. We have had global brands planning and subsequently buying engagement routes through both of our platforms and that for us is a great validation."

Fork Media is betting big on its flagship platforms for the international markets – Brand Press, the native ad platform and Impulse, the image recognition and monetisation platform. Brand Press allows publishers to create and distribute branded content directly into their content feed, alongside the sites' editorial, while Impulse helps create an environment where seamlessly integrated ads get played out only on safe images that are contextually relevant.

“Both platforms have been very well accepted in India, and we are confident that advertisers in the GCC region will be fairly excited as well,” Verma added.

The company has roped in Alex Pugnet as Director for the GCC region. “Alex comes with great expertise in media, having spent over a decade in digital and his understanding of the local market was a massive plus for us," Verma said.

Before joining Fork Media, Pugnet held leadership positions at the Publicis Group and Starcom. Vineeta Gogia, Sales Director from Fork Media's Mumbai office will be joining him in Dubai to set up the sales team and kick-start the operations.

In India, Fork Media has forged strategic partnerships with some of the biggest publications including the NTDV group, HT Media group, India Today group, India.com group, Web18 and The Hindu, amongst others.

With its recent acquisition of ClickZoot, a performance ad network, Fork Media has emerged as a one-stop destination for advertisers with a reach of over 80 million users.
