The life membership of The Advertising Club stands at 825 today out of its total strength of 1,300 members. In its 60th year, The Ad Club is targeting 1,000 Life members in the near future.
Bipin R Pandit, COO, The Ad Club, said, “The Ad Club Secretariat has its sight set on maximising the count of Life members. It is focussed and religiously follows a system that helps us to identify potential members from the industry. Post that, we send out an email to them communicating about Ad Club’s activities and benefits of enrolment. Most of them immediately send their forms but in a few cases we have to be relentless in our pursuit.”
“Our approaching the judges of various awards function and presenters of awards has helped us a great deal. Thus, the Emvies helps us to tap the media industry, Effies, the marketing and account planners, and Abbys, the creative fraternity,” Pandit added.
