The Advertising Club is inviting entries for Emvies 2014. The Emvies, one of the most prestigious awards for media agencies in India, is scheduled to be held on September 17, 2014. The last date for submitting entries for this year's Emvies is Monday, August 4, 2014.

This year, the Emvies has a few new tricks up its sleeves. There will be two trophies for each winning entry so that both the client and the agency can both have one.

There will be a 10 per cent early bird discount for entries received a week before the entry submission deadline. On the negative side, a 20 per cent late fee surcharge will be applied on entries received up to 4 days post the deadline.

Some new categories will also be introduced this year. There will be Best Use of Analytics/Data Technology in the Best Media Research and Best Media Innovation Category for Agencies. The last category must not exceed Rs 50 crore annual billing with no affiliation to any global agency network or large media independent.

Being mainly an award for media agencies, it will still be open for creative agencies. However, creative agencies will have to show proof of their role in the media buying and the release.

To judge the work done from April 1, 2013 to March 31, 2014, there will be a two-stage judging process. The focus while judging will be on originality and uniqueness, impact on client's business, relevance to brand and its communication.

The categories for Emvies 2014 will include Best Media Strategy, Best Media Innovation (for TV, Print, OOH, Ambient Media, Cinema, Radio, Digital, Events, Direct Marketing, Branded Content and Sponsorship), Best Media Research, Best Integrated Campaign, Best Ongoing Media Campaign, Grand Emvie, Best Media Agency, Best Media Client among others.

Every entrant must submit the hard copy of the entry application form duly filled in, authorized and signed by the client and the media agency representative.

The first round of judging will take place in Delhi and Mumbai from August 13-19, while the case study presentations will be held on September 9-12, before finally culminating in the final event on September 17, 2014.
