Star Plus has yet again created history by breaking its own viewership record. By fetching a whopping 748 GTVM, the channel has widened the leadership margin in Week 15 of TAM 2014.

There were a couple of changes in the pecking order among the Hindi general entertainment channels. While Zee TV overtook Colors to become the second-most watched Hindi GEC this week, Sony slipped to No. 6 again.

According to data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 15 of TAM 2014 (April 6 – April 12) for CS 4+, HSM markets, Star Plus was followed by Zee TV, Colors, Life OK, SAB and Sony.

By adding 46 million viewers to its gross viewership, Star Plus hit a new record with a GVTM of 748 TVM and a relative share of 28.11% (last week 702 TVM with 27.26% relative share).

Zee TV grew by 39 TVM to become the No. 2 Hindi GEC in Week 15. The channel recorded a GTVM of 464 and a relative share of 17.44% (last week 425 TVM with 16.50% relative share).

Colors witnessed a marginal decline in its viewership and slipped to No. 3 with 451 GTVM. The channel had a relative share of 16.95% (last week 454 TVM with 17.63% relative share).

Life OK held its No. 4 position but lost a few eyeballs. The channel recorded a GVTM of 376 TVM and a relative share of 14.13% (last week 384 TVM and 14.91%).

SAB TV made a comeback at No. 5 this week by adding 16 TVM to its gross viewership. Its gross viewership was recorded at 314 TVM. The channel's relative share grew to 11.80% (last week 298 TVM and 11.57% relative share).

Sony slipped to No. 6 with a gross viewership of 308 TVM and a relative share of 11.57% (last week 312 TVM and 12.12% relative share).
