Brand communication agency, DeTales Marketing & Communication, has bagged the account for London-based pan Asian cuisine chain Ping Pong. The account was won after a multi-agency pitch conducted here. DeTales has strategically launched Ping Pong through a strong marketing and digital campaign.

Ping Pong is an international chain of casual dining outlets, offering its patrons high quality, handmade dim sums as well as cocktails and Chinese teas. Ping Pong is well known for its little steamed parcels of deliciousness within a sophisticated environment that represents great value for money.

With over fifteen restaurants spread over the UK, Dubai and Washington since 2005, Ping Pong finally set up base in India with its flagship restaurant which opened in Mumbai in September last year. This will be followed by Delhi and Bangalore this year, while Kolkata and Pune will be considered after that. It is operated and managed in India by Mirah Hospitality.

Tripti Gandhi and Priyanka Lillaney, co-founders of DeTales, said, “Bringing Ping Pong on board with DetTales has been one of our proudest moments. It is a privilege to work with an internationally acclaimed brand and to have the opportunity to launch it in India is an even bigger privilege.”

Kersi Marker, Assistant VP, Operations, Ping Pong, added, “It has been a pleasant experience to work with DeTales. They have a team which is vibrant and full of fresh ideas, which makes the experience of working with them quite worthwhile.”

DeTales, which started around three years ago, already has different clients across the lifestyle and hospitality sectors. These include Olive Bar and Kitchen, Dish Hospitality, Bonobo, Jamjar Diner, Woodside Inn, My Gym, Runah Salon and many more.
