The India Chapter of International Advertising Association (IAA) organised its first session of 'Conversations', a thought leadership platform, on Monday, in Mumbai. The inaugural episode of 'In conversation with the mystic' featured spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev and ad guru Piyush Pandey who discussed 'Spirituality and Consumerism - Can they co-exist?' The talk moved to areas that are relevant in today's scenario like competitiveness in society, the values one can teach to children and so on.

The event was attended by several stalwarts of the Indian advertising industry, including Josy Paul, Srinivasan Swamy, MG Parameswaran, Prahlad Kakkar and Sam Balsara. The Indian film and television industry was represented by Shekhar Kapur, Raj Nayak, Hema Malini and Madhoo, among others.

Hema Malini also launched Sadhguru's first self-help book, 'Three truths of well being', at the event. In the book, the spiritual guru introduces readers to simple techniques to transform their lives into an enriching experience.
