Corporates win in various categories for their role in the uplift and betterment of society

The second edition of the Aaj Tak Care Awards took place on Tuesday evening in Delhi. Aaj Tak Care Awards is an effort to felicitate and amplify the efforts taken by the corporate sector in striving towards inclusive and sustainable development with a ‘society-centered’ purpose. While there many corporate winners for their contribution to society, actor Amir Khan won the award in the Individual category for the Satyamev Jayate initiative on television.
The anthem for the Aaj Tak Care Awards was also launched by actor Ajay Devgn. It is the first crowd sourced anthem and is unique initiative for the awards.
Entries poured in for the various categories and went through a rigorous judging process. All entries were evaluated on various parameters by IMRB and were then passed to FICCI to select six nominees in each category. The final list of the six nominees was submitted to the jury panel. The awardees in various categories were selected by Jury members Gurcharan Das, Dr Ashok Seth, Sandeep Chachra, Dr Sandeep Pandey, Rajendra Singh, Prof Dipankar Gupta and Arun Kapur.
Also, present at the Awards were Sachin Pilot, Minister of Corporate Affairs, and Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh.
Amir Khan was not present as he was away in Austrlaia, but he sent in a recorded video appreciating the ward given to him.
