Korean advertising major Innocean, shrugging off the sluggish mood of the industry, has positioned itself for organic and as well as inorganic growth opportunities in India. To enable this goal, the agency has added a clutch of senior professional to its team. Arjun Modayil has joined Innocean India as Executive Director, moving from Hakuhodo Percept. Koustuv Chaterjee has joined Executive Creative Director from LG Ads. Ninad Satpute has come on board as Group Director Strategy Planning, moving from moving from Contract. And Tulika Seth Borkataky has joined as Creative Director from Grey Worldwide.
The agency currently has amongst its clients Hyundai Motor, Fena, KEI Wires & Cables, Open Magazine, 4moles.com and Meinhardt India.

Innocean has made modest beginnings in terms of creative recognition by winning gold at Olive Crown, Gold at Yahoo! Big Chair and Silver at the recent Abbies. “This has whetted our appetite for the forthcoming round of opportunities,” added Vivek Srivastava.
Commenting on his role at Innocean, Modayil said, “It is a sort of a homecoming as far as the lead brand Hyundai is concerned as I was a part of the team that handled it in its initial years from 1999-2001. I see a great potential to grow and expand the business to newer areas. It’s going to be hard work but exciting nonetheless!”
Chaterjee who has had stints with Ogilvy, Leo Burnett and JWT in the past apart from LG Ads, commented, “Innocean is an ideal platform for large format creativity given its client base and growth possibilities.”
Satpute is an alumnus of IIM-Bangalore and has done stints with Maruti and McCann prior to Contract.
