NDTV returns to profitability in fiscal 2012-13 and in Q4

The group has reported operating profit of Rs 42 crore for the quarter ending March 31, 2013 compared to Rs 8 crore in the same period last year

NDTV Group has reported operating profits of Rs 42 crore for the quarter ending March 31, 2013 compared to Rs 8 crore in the same period last year. The net profit after tax is Rs 28 crore for this quarter compared to a net loss of Rs 41 crore in the same period last year.

The television group closcked record quarterly revenues of Rs 196 crore in Q4 compared with Rs 143 crore last year.

For the fiscal year ended March 31, 2013, the NDTV Group has reported an operating profit of Rs 31 crore. It returns to profitability after tax for the year ended March 31, 2013 with a PAT of Rs 2 crore for FY 2012-13 against a loss of Rs 87 crore for FY 2011-12.
