publive-imageReliance Broadcast Network's regional general entertainment channel for the Hindi heartland, Big Magic, has announced the launch of 'Rasoi Ki Rani - Star Special' with a new concept. Hosted by celebrity Chef Rakesh Sethi and television actress Madhura Naik, 'Rasoi Ki Rani - Star Special' will witness popular television artists essaying the roles of Saas or Bahus come together and showcase their knowledge about food. The show will premieres today, and will air every Monday to Friday at 2 PM and 5 PM..

Launching in a brand-new avatar, 'Rasoi Ki Rani - Star Special' moves away from the show's previous concept of pitting two housewives against each other to a competition between celebrity saas and bahus. Every week, a celebrity duo will participate in a series of rounds which will incorporate their understanding and knowledge of food. From linking their personalities to food to testing their knowledge on food and its nutritional values, the actors will present audiences with varied food related trivia. Some of the celebrities who will be seen on the show include Prerna Wanvari, Rajni Chandra, and Sara Khan among others.

Sunil Kumaran, Business Head – Language TV, Reliance Broadcast Network, said, “Rasoi Ki Rani has been the top-rating food-related show in Central India since its launch. We are now revamping the show and spicing it up with conversations and recipes from the television saas-bahu duos, which are full of flavour. The newer avenues that we are exploring with this show promise to find a stronger connect with audiences and marketers alike.”
