He moves from Starcom Bangalore after a six-month stint

Soumit DebAfter spending a little over six months with Starcom in Bangalore, Soumit Deb has joined Mediacom as Head of Investments - South. He will be reporting to Sriram Sharma, MD, Mediacom, South.
Deb has previously worked on brands like 3M, Citizen, Jockey, Essilor, Caratlane in Bangalore.
His India stint started with Initiative Media in 2010 where he was working on ITC Foods’ confectionery and snacks business. Prior to that, he was with Mindshare in Malaysia and Sri Lanka.
Deb is almost a decade old in the industry and has worked on brands like Matrix Telecom, Unilever, P&G, Reckitt and GSK. He started his media planning career with Lodestar UM in Chennai and has worked with MPG as well.
