CNN-IBN & IBN7 line-up special programming for IPL 6

Cricketainment goes live on CNN-IBN while IBN7 kicks-off IPL coverage under Cricket Ka Mahayudh

The electric mix of cricket and entertainment is back with the sixth season of India's very own Twenty20 cricket league. IPL 6 promises to be the most competitive ever as all nine teams are more evenly balanced than ever to battle for the ultimate glory. As always, CNN-IBN and IBN7 are ready to give their viewers the most comprehensive coverage of this sporting spectacle with its line-up of special programming called Cricketainment and Cricket Ka Mahayudh.

The CNN-IBN team of some of India's most experienced sports journalists will be joined by well-known experts of the game such asHarsha Bhogle, Sanjay Manjrekar, Aakash Chopra, Anil Kumble, Shishir Hattangdi, K Srikkanthtogive the viewers the sharpest and most precise analysis of every game in the tournament.

The sixth season of Cricketainment began its innings on CNN-IBN from Mar 30 which will continue till the end of the tournament on May 26. The coverage will be divided in two stages:

1.     Pre-Tournament:

Four half-hour special shows with Harsha Bhogle, Sanjay Manjrekar and Aakash Chopra, highlighting and analysing the strengths and weaknesses of all teams.

Timings: Mar 30 - Apr 2, everyday @ 7:30 PM

2.     During Tournament:

Daily analyses of all 76 matches peppered with expert views and detailed discussions.

Timings: Apr 3 – May 26 @ 7:30 AM & 7:30 PM on weekdays

Cricket Ka Mahayudh began its innings on IBN7 from Mar 30 which will continue till the end of the tournament on May 26. The coverage will be divided in two stages:

1.        PRE-Tournament:

Three special episodes with Harsha Bhogle, highlighting and analysing the strengths and weaknesses of all teams.

Timings: Mar 30 to Apr 1, everyday @ 6:30 PM

2.        DURING Tournament:

Daily pre & post-match analysis where a multi-dimensional panel of experts will discuss & analyze the teams' performance in all 76 matches

Timings: Apr 3 – May 26 @ 6:30 PM (on days having one match) and @ 3:30 PM & 6:30 PM (on days having two matches)
