Star India shuffles senior management

Amit Chopra replaces Kevin Vaz as Head of Ad Sales for Star Network. Vaz will now lead the English channels cluster, Star Jalsha and Jalsha Movies

Star India has restructured the roles of two of its top executives as it prepares for the next phase of growth driven by digitisation in the media and entertainment industry. Amit Chopra replaces Kevin Vaz as Head of Ad Sales for Star Network. Vaz will now lead the English channels cluster, Star Jalsha and Jalsha Movies.

An official statement from Star India said: “The realignment will see Kevin Vaz move to lead the English channels cluster of Star India after successfully helming Ad Sales for the network and setting new benchmarks for industry peers. Kevin will also continue to steer Star Jalsha and Jalsha Movies as their General Manager and Business Head.”

Chopra will take over from Vaz as Head of Ad Sales for the network. He recently joined Star India with a compelling track record of achievements in the FMCG and Media industries. “His mandate will be to leverage the formidable skills of the sales team at Star India to fuel aggressive growth in the business,” said the statement.
