Raftaar.in, the platform for search and exploration of Hindi content, has appointed Surjeet Singh, Vice President (Business Head & Marketing) who will be based in Delhi.

Commenting on the appointment, Peeyush Bajpai, Co-Founder & Director of Raftaar.in said, “Surjeet will pay a critical role in aligning our focus and sustaining the growth of the platform from a marketing and business prospect. His vast experience and understanding of the Indian online market will enhance the positioning and understanding of Raftaar's long term vision.”

Singh is backed with over 12 years of experience across domains in Online, E-commerce, Banking & digital Payments sectors and having worked with the likes of Yatra.com, Times Internet.  Before Joining Indicus he was working with Yatra.com, for over 7 years as Head of Strategic Alliances where he was instrumental in building theStrategic Alliances from scratch. He was responsible for leading Yatra's strategic program with Indian and International Banks, Telco, ecommerce & Electronics companies. He had launched partnership programs with brands like Nokia, Whirlpool, Samsung, Citibank, MasterCard and India's first Online travel co-brand Credit card. Prior to that, he was with Times Internet with their ecommerce division.

At Indicus Netlabs, his role will concentrate on the identifying innovative growth aspects to scaling the digital footprints of the online platform including the expansion of the outreach through Mobile & VAS. He will be responsible in the operational management and contribution of Marketing & Business Strategic decisions as well as the associated Partnerships in terms of forward integration with leading online category owners & OEM's.
