ABP News' B2B media agency activation 'Agency Opinion Poll' gauged the mood of the DDB Mudra and Madison Bangalore staff on their favourites in the upcoming Assembly and 2014 General Election.

Complementing ABP News' flagship election programming 'Kaun Banega Mukhyamantri', the activation kicked off in Mumbai on November 7 and tapped 28 different media agencies in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata over two weeks.

'Kaun Banega Mukhyamantri' or KBM was launched in 2005 when every channel stayed with reporting election news. The channel's foresight and innovativeness reached out to a million voices across the constituency and thus created history by launching KBM. Since then, KBM has been the No.1 programme across the entire election related programming on TV channels.

The ABP News team went to the DDB Mudra and Madison offices in Bangalore and distributed questionnaires to the employees. The questionnaires had five set questions: choice of future prime minister, choice of the ruling party, choice of the popular leader, choice of government in Delhi, and choice of the main agenda for the 2014 polls. After a secret voting, much like the actual election process, the results were declared to the cheerful and anxious crowd at the two agencies.

Both DDB Mudra and Madison supported a BJP government at the Centre with full majority. While 68 per cent of the people who took the opinion poll at DDB Mudra preferred BJP, it got 76 per cent support from Madison staff. While 19 per cent of respondents in DDB Mudra wanted the Congress to return to power, it got support from 10 per cent respondents in Madison.
