Wipro Enterprises, one of the largest consumer care companies of India, has entered the body lotion category with the launch of Santoor Body Lotion. Santoor, the flagship brand of Wipro Enterprises, started its journey a quarter century ago as an ingredient-focused sandal and turmeric soap. Over the years, Santoor has grown to become a brand offering a range of products catering to multiple personal care needs.

The latest offering, Santoor Body Lotion, carries forward the promise of skin care and nourishment through gentle, chemical free natural ingredients such as sakura, sandal, aloe vera and shea butter. The product comes in three variants – Whitening & UV Protection, Light & Rejuvenating, and Intensive Moisturising. It is a non-greasy lotion that hydrates the skin from within. It also makes skin smooth and radiant throughout the day.

Draftfcb+Ulka, Bangalore has created a TVC announcing the launch of Santoor Body lotion. The commercial shows a cute interplay between two sisters. The film begins with the protagonist, who is the elder sister, getting ready for office, when the younger sister accidently squeezes the body lotion on her. We see intercuts of playful exchanges between the two girls. The younger sister is amazed to see how the body lotion gets quickly absorbed with just a single swipe, leaving the protagonist's skin soft and supple.

Dennis Koshy, Vice-President, Draftfcb+Ulka, Bangalore, said, “The challenge was not just to stand apart in a cluttered category, but also to communicate the promise of fast absorption in an engaging manner.”

On the idea behind the TVC, Dharmesh Shah, Creative Director, Draftfcb+Ulka, Bangalore, said, “The film shows a young woman getting ready for work being bugged by her little sister – a very playful scenario where the product effortlessly becomes integral to the fun-n-play. Since it is the launch, the attempt was to have the product integrated through the film without it being a hardworking storyline. It makes the film watchable again and again.”
