publive-imageHindi GECs have witnessed an overall viewership decline of 5 per cent in total GRPs in Week 2 of TAM 2013 after last week's special programming around New Year. According to viewership data for January 6-12 sourced from TAM subscribers for the CS 4+, HSM markets, Star Plus has lost 46 points paving the way for Colors to take the No. 1 seat despite losing eight points. While Sony has gained 15 GRPs on the back of KBC's episodes featuring a Rs 5-crore winner, Zee TV has lost 15 points. Life OK has managed to add three points on the back of improved performance by Mahadev.

Sony's KBC episode featuring the Rs 5-crore winner rated 5.1 TVR. The Bigg Boss 6 Finale on Colors scored 4.4 TVR. The show averaged at 3.3 TVR in final week and contributed 63 GRPs to the total tally for Colors.

Colors took the No. 1 seat in Week 2 with 245 GRPs (last week 253).

Star Plus slipped to 2nd position losing 46 GRPs. The channel recorded 241 GRPs in Week 2 of TAM 2013 (last week 287).

Despite losing 15 points, Zee TV remained at No. 3 with 196 GRPs (last week 211).

At No. 4, Sony Entertainment Television added 15 GRPs on the back of KBC. The channel recorded 195 GRPs this week (last week 180).

SAB TV garnered 150 GRPs (last week 150).

Life OK added three points on the back of Mahadev that averaged 3.0 TVR for Week 2. The channel recorded 117 GRPs this week (last week 114).
