Life OK has turned the numbers game in its favour by adding maximum TVTs in Week 37 of TAM 2013. The channel has dislodged Sony from the No. 4 position despite KBC which fell sharply in its second week after launch. KBC scored 6,698 TVT on Sunday in the launch week, and 5,049 TVT on Friday and 6,027 Saturday in the second week. The game show had opened at 8,950 TVT on Friday, September 6, 2013 followed by 8,460 TVT on Saturday, thus topping the weekend programming in its opening week.

However, the grand finale of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa on Colors pushed the celebrity dance reality show at the top of weekend programming followed by its other show, Comedy Night with Kapil, at No. 2. The grand finale of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa fetched 8,822 TVT. The grand finale in the last season had fetched 5,400 TVT. Week 37 also saw the grand finale of DID Super Moms on Zee TV that fetched 6,087 TVT.

Among the new shows launched in Week 37, Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi on Zee TV opened at an average of 2,546 TVT. The week also saw the launch of Ek Boond Ishq on Life OK at an average of 1,883 TVT.

As per TVT data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 37 (September 8 - September 14) for CS 4+, HSM markets, Star Plus continued to lead the GEC space but Colors closed the gap. Zee TV held the No. 3 position. Life OK was at No. 4 while Sony slipped to No. 6. SAB TV remained at No. 5.

Star Plus held the leadership position despite a drop of 18 million TVT in Week 37. The channel recorded Gross TVT of 477 million and relative share of 20.78% (last week 495 million TVT with 21.22% relative share).

At No. 2, Colors added 11 million TVT to close the gap with Star Plus. The channel recorded Gross TVT of 464 million and relative share of 20.20% (last week 453 million TVT with 19.42% relative share).

Zee TV lost 12 million TVT this week despite the grand finale of DID Super Moms. The channel fetched 399 million of Gross TVT with 17.38% of relative share. The channel had 411 million TVT with relative share of 17.62% last week.

Life OK emerged as the biggest gainer of the week adding 46 million TVT and replacing Sony at No. 4. The channel recorded Gross TVT of 322 million against last week's 276 million. The channel's relative share was 14.04% in Week 37 against 11.85% in Week 36.

SAB TV held No. 5 position with Gross TVT of 312 million with 13.59% relative share (last week 322 million TVT and 13.83% relative share).

Sony lost 53 million TVTs and slid to No. 6 this week from last week's No. 4. The channel recorded Gross TVT of 293 million with 12.76% relative share (last week 346 million TVT with 14.84% of relative share).

Sahara One's viewership was at 29 million TVT with 1.25% relative share (last week 29 million TVT and 1.23% relative share).
