Neville Bastawalla, Head - Marketing, Hindi Movies Channels of Star India, has put in his papers and is set to join Sony Pix as Marketing Head. Both Bastawalla and officials at Pix declined to comment on this development.

A marketing professional with over 13 years of multi-brand experience, Bastawalla had joined Star India in January 2011 as AVP - Marketing for its English Channels and then rose to the position of Head - Marketing for Hindi Movies Channels in February 2013.

Prior to joining Star India, Bastawalla was Head of Marketing at Mid-Day Infomedia where he spent about four years. He had joined Mid-Day in 2007 after a brief stint with Nickelodeon as Senior Marketing Manager.

A management graduate in marketing, Bastawalla has previously done stints with HSBC, Walt Disney Company, Contract Advertising and Mudra Communications.
