Season 7 of Colors' flagship reality show, 'Big Boss', is all set to take viewers on a “most amazing journey of hell and heaven” starting September 15, 2013 in the 9 PM slot every day. Bigg Boss will replace 'Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki' and 'Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha Season 2' which were launched in January 2013.

Commenting on the wrap-up of the two shows, Colors Weekday Programming Head Prashant Bhatt said, “Bigg Boss Season 7 will take the primetime slot of 9-10 PM with Sanskaar and Na Bole Tum coming to an end. Both the shows have fared well and were popular amongst the audiences. However, we will be having a logical conclusion to both the shows to pave the way for fresh content.”

Bigg Boss this season promises to give the contestants a sweet taste of heaven as well as the bitterness of hell with the theme of the show revolving around the concept of 'Hell and Heaven'. Giving a glimpse of this is the promo campaign that shows show host Salman Khan in a very interesting double role.

The promos, which have already hit TV screens, show the superstar in the guise of an angel personifying the pleasure of heaven, as well as in the garb of a devil, representing the menace of hell. While in one promo the actor is being lovingly fed grapes by beautiful apsaras under a tree and hit hard by a coconut by his devil counterpart, in another one he'll be seen under a waterfall with his apsaras helping him brush, but not until his devilish equivalent makes an appearance by cunningly turning off the water! One of the promos has been created on the lines of the mythological concept of 'Samudra Manthan'.

Speaking on the concept of the promos, Rajesh Iyer, Marketing Head, Colors, said, “This season Bigg Boss will make sure that you get to see heaven and hell, both saath-saath. The message is simple: pleasure or pain, both are inevitable and there is nothing to be taken for granted this season. The only thing that we can assure you is that Bigg Boss 7 is going to be a tumultuous, eventful and one hell–of- a-crazy ride.”

The inmates of the house will be given a glimpse of heaven and let through its golden gates, but their momentary joy will be shattered when the treacherous dark side of hell takes over. Viewers will see 14 strangers struggle for survival in the house over 90 days and all this will be captured by 70 cameras.
