MEC appoints Roopam Garg as Head - New Business Development

MEC India has announced the appointment of Roopam Garg as all-India Head - New Business Development and General Manager, MEC North. In this newly created management position, Garg will report to T Gangadhar, Managing Director, MEC India. Prior to this, he was Chief Operating Officer at ZenithOptimedia India and head of Performics (ZO's digital arm).

Garg has over 18 years of multi-regional experience across P&L management, new business development, strategic planning and digital communication. In his previous roles, he has led global planning for Reckitt Benckiser based out of ZO London. He has been the Managing Director of Publicis Groupe Media (ZO+SMG), Vietnam, and planning head on P&G at Starcom China. His experience also spans clients such as Colgate, Tata Group, Nokia, Honda, Toshiba, Coca- Cola, Nestle and Microsoft.
