Quoting the latest TAM data, Sony Max, in a press communiquĂ©, has said that it continues to be the highest rated Hindi Movie channel. Riding high with a GRP of 117 in week 26, Max is well ahead of its competitors. The channel has held on to its leadership position since Pepsi IPL ended 4 weeks back.
Sony Maxâs average GRP from Week 23-26 stands at 116 GRPs, a comfortable gap of 10 GRPs with the second in contention. While the network has acquired a bouquet of the latest and the biggest Hindi blockbusters for the year, it has also launched an aggressive marketing salvo and promotional activities guaranteed to keep the channel top-of-mind. The channel played the blockbuster hit âJab Tak Hai Jaanâ post IPL and had a tremendous response with the first ever live tweeting activation on a Hindi movie channel. The next big movie to look forward to is the yearâs biggest romantic saga âAashiqui 2â, which is scheduled for July 28.
