publive-imageStar Plus faced tough competition from Zee TV for the top slot in weekday programming in Week 26 of TAM 2013. However, Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum won the battle with Zee TV's Qubool Hai by a fraction of points. Diya Aur Baati scored 3.486 TVR vs 3.434 for Qubool Hai. Another highlight of the week was Sony's Maharana Pratap that grew by 38 per cent and fetched 1.8 TVR against last week's 1.3 TVR.

According to data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 26 of TAM 2013 (June 23 - June 29) for the CS 4+, HSM markets, Star Plus continued to rule the weekday chart with 5 shows in the top 10 list. Zee TV held 3 slots followed by Colors and SAB TV with 1 show each.

DID Super Moms on Zee TV continued to top weekend programming followed by Colors' Comedy Night with Kapil at No. 2.

Weekday toppers

Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus topped the weekday programming chart despite a decline in its ratings. The show fetched an average of 3.5 (3.486) TVR (last week 3.7).

Zee TV's Qubool Hai was at a kissing distance from Diya Aur Baati with 3.4 (3.434) TVR (last week 3.4).

SAB's Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma slipped one position to No. 3 and recorded an average TVR of 3.4 (3.388) against last week's 3.5 TVR.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus climbed one position to No. 4 this week with 3.0 TVR. Yeh Rishta had 3.0 TVR last week.

Star Plus' Saathiya jumped 3 positions to No. 5 this week. The show garnered an average of 2.9 TVR (last week 2.7).

Pyaar Ka Dard Hai on Star Plus remained at No. 6 recording an average rating of 2.9 TVR (last week 2.9).

Colors' Balika Vadhu jumped 3 positions to No. 7. The show averaged 2.5 TVR this week (last week 2.5).

Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV climbed one position to No. 8 this week. The show fetched an average of 2.4 TVR (last week 2.5).

Zee TV's third show in top 10 list, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, slipped 2 positions to No. 9 this week with an average of 2.3 TVR (last week 2.8).

Veera on Star Plus slipped 6 positions to No. 10 with an average of 2.3 TVR. Veera was at No. (last week 3.0).

Weekend toppers

DID Super Moms on Zee TV continued to top weekend programming. The show averaged at 3.0 TVR (last week 3.1).

At No. 2 was Colors' Comedy Night with Kapil that settled at an average rating of 2.8 TVR in its second week after launching at 3.4 TVR.

Colors' Jhalak Dikhhla Ja climbed to No. 3 with improved average rating of 2.0 TVR (last week 1.9).

Sony's crime show, CID, fetched an average TVR of 2.0 (last week 2.1).

Sony's other crime show, Crime Patrol, garnered 1.8 TVR this week (last week 1.8).

Fear Files on Zee TV recorded an average TVR of 1.8 (last week 2.0).

Sony's Indian Idol Junior kept its ground at 1.8 TVR (last week 1.8).

Star Plus dancing reality show India's Dancing Superstar recorded 1.6 TVR from last week's 1.8 TVR.

Comedy Circus ke Ajoobe on Sony averaged 1.3 TVR (last week 1.3).

Adalat on Sony recorded 1.0 TVR (last week 0.9).

Star Plus' crime fiction, Arjun, recorded 0.9 TVR (last week 0.8).
