Times Television Network (TTN) has announced the appointment of Kaushik Ghosh as Business Head – ET NOW and TIMES NOW. Based out of Mumbai, Ghosh will lead and drive the revenue and brand initiatives for the respective channels that are No.1 channels in their respective categories. He will have a P&L responsibility for the above channels, interacting closely with the editorial, distribution, branded content and other functions. Ghosh will be reporting into Avinash Kaul, Chief Executive Officer – ET NOW, TIMES NOW and zoOm.

Speaking on the appointment, Kaul said, “Kaushik's significant and diverse experience across multiple formats of media and different genres  coupled with his experience in non-media industries will work as a catalyst to our aggressive growth efforts. His expertise across brand management, marketing, sales and revenue management will add significant value to our business. With his addition to the already robust team, I am confident that we will be able to achieve a new benchmark for ET NOW and TIMES NOW in this growth phase.”

Times Television Network has completed another year of successful and significant operations, with TIMES NOW continuing to lead the English news domain over the past 5 years and ET NOW establishing a dominant position as India's No. 1 Stock Market channel. The network's entertainment channels – zoOm and MOVIES NOW – continued to grow their viewership into leadership positions. TIMES NOW and zoOm have recently rolled out a hike of over 30% in their advertising rates while ET NOW hiked its advertising rates by 100% in line with the true value of audience delivery that the channels offer. Times Television Network is successfully treading a steady growth path despite the various challenges in the media environment and is now poised to capitalize the onset of digital distribution and create new opportunities in the year ahead.

An alumnus of IIM Calcutta and IIT Kharagpur, Ghosh joins the network with experience spanning over 18 years in sales, marketing and regulatory across various industries. Prior to joining the Times Television Network, Ghosh was associated with Star India as the Cluster Head, Ad Sales, for their Regional Channels – Star Pravah, Star Jalsha and Jalsha Movies. Previously he has worked with ENIL (Radio Mirchi), where his last assignment was as EVP and National Sales Head, and has worked with HCL Frontline and Asian Paints prior to ENIL.
