publive-imageWeek 25 of TAM was again a high action week for Hindi general entertainment channels with the launch of three new shows – two weekday shows and a weekend show. Comedy Night with Kapil on Colors opened at 3.4 TVR. Meri Bhabhi on Star Plus opened at 1.8 TVR and grew to 2.2 TVR by the end of the week. The show averaged at 1.9 TVR. Zee TV's Jodha Akbar opened at 2.3 TVR but dropped to 1.9 TVR for Friday episode, averaging at 2.0 TVR over the week.

According to data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 25 of TAM 2013 (June 16 - June 22) for the CS 4+, HSM markets, Star Plus continued to rule the weekday chart with 5 shows in the top 10 list. Zee TV's weekday shows witnessed a jump in their ratings and the channel grabbed 3 slots in the top 10 after a long time. Colors and SAB TV had 1 show each.

Backed by the grand premiere night with 3.5 TVR, DID Super Moms on Zee TV continued to top weekend programming. TOIFA Awards on Sony rated 1.9 TVR over 3.5 hours on Sunday.

Weekday toppers

Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus topped the weekday programming chart despite a decline in its ratings. The show fetched an average of 3.7 TVR (last week 4.4).

SAB's Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma jumped two positions to No. 2 and recorded an average TVR of 3.5 against last week's 3.1 TVR.

Zee TV's Qubool Hai too saw an increase in ratings and jumped 3 positions to No. 3. The show averaged at 3.4 TVR (last week 2.8).

Veera on Star Plus jumped 6 positions to No. 4 with an average of 3.0 TVR. Veera was at No. 10 last week with 2.5 TVR

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus slipped 3 positions to No. 5 this week with 3.0 TVR. Yeh Rishta had 3.5 TVR last week.

Pyaar Ka Dard Hai on Star Plus came in at No. 6 recording an average rating of 2.8 TVR (last week 3.2).

Zee TV's Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke jumped three positions to No. 7 this week with an average of 2.8 TVR (last week 2.5).

Star Plus' Saathiya slipped 3 positions to No. 8 this week. The show garnered an average of 2.7 TVR (last week 2.9).

Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV made a comeback in the top 10 list at No. 9 this week. The show fetched an average of 2.5 TVR (last week 2.1).

Colors' Balika Vadhu witnessed its lowest ever position at No. 10. The show averaged 2.5 TVR this week (last week 2.6).

Weekend toppers

Backed by the grand premiere night with 3.5 TVR, DID Super Moms on Zee TV continued to top weekend programming. The show averaged at 3.1 TVR (last week 3.0).

Sony's crime show, CID, fetched an average TVR of 2.1 (last week 2.3).

Fear Files on Zee TV recorded an average TVR of 2.0 (last week 1.9).

Colors' Jhalak Dikhhla Ja stayed at 1.9 TVR (last week 1.9).

 

Sony's other crime show, Crime Patrol, garnered 1.8 TVR this week (last week 1.7).

Sony's Indian Idol Junior averaged at 1.8 TVR (last week 1.8).

Star Plus dancing reality show India's Dancing Superstar grew to 1.8 TVR from last week's 1.5 TVR.

Comedy Circus ke Ajoobe on Sony averaged 1.3 TVR (last week 1.1).

Adalat on Sony recorded 0.9 TVR (last week 0.9).

Star Plus' crime fiction, Arjun, recorded 0.8 TVR (last week 0.9).
