publive-imageStar Plus dominated weekday programming on Hindi GECs with 6 shows in the top 10 list in Week 24 of TAM 2013 with improved ratings for almost all its shows including Masterchef India 3. The Grand Finale episode of Masterchef India 3 fetched 3.7 TVR over one hour. The channel also held the top 3 spots for the fifth consecutive week.

According to data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 24 (June 9 - June 15) for the CS 4+, HSM markets, Colors and Zee TV had 2 shows each in the top 10 list while SAB TV's Tarak Mehta held its position firmly at No. 4.

In weekend programming, DID Super Moms on Zee TV continued to top the chart. The world television premiere of Hindi movie ABCD fetched 2.7 TVR and contributed with 27 GRPs pushing Zee TV to No. 2.

Weekday toppers

Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus strengthened its leadership with an average of 4.4 TVR (last week 4.1).

Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai also grew this week averaging 3.5 TVR this week (last week 3.1).

Pyaar Ka Dard Hai on Star Plus improved its ratings and fetched an average rating of 3.2 TVR (last week 3.0).

SAB's Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma held its position at No. 4 with an average TVR of 3.1 against last week's 3.0 TVR.

The fifth position was also held by Star Plus as Saathiya climbed three positions this week. The show garnered an average of 2.9 TVR (last week 2.5).

Zee TV's Qubool Hai was stable at No. 6. The show averaged at 2.8 TVR (last week 2.9).

Masterchef India 3 made it to the top 10 list in its last week with significant contribution by the Grand Finale episode that fetched 3.7 TVR over one hour. The show averaged at 2.7 TVR over the week and fared at No. 7.

At No. 8, Colors' Balika Vadhu slipped to an average of 2.6 TVR this week (last week 2.8).

Madhubala on Colors also slipped 4 positions to No. 9 with an average of 2.5 TVR (last week 2.9).

Zee TV's Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke and Star Plus' Veera jointly held the No. 10 position with average of 2.5 TVR.

Weekend toppers

Despite a little drop in its ratings, Zee TV's DID Super Moms continued to rule weekend programming. The show garnered an average of 3.0 TVR. The show had opened at 3.3 TVR.

Sony's crime show, CID, fetched an average TVR of 2.3 (last week 2.3).

Colors' Jhalak Dikhhla Ja dropped to 1.9 TVR in its third week (last week 2.4).

 

Fear Files on Zee TV recorded an average TVR of 1.9 (last week 2.1).

Sony's Indian Idol Junior averaged at 1.8 TVR after opening at 1.9 TVR last week.

Sony's other crime show, Crime Patrol, garnered 1.7 TVR this week (last week 1.7).

Star Plus dancing reality show India's Dancing Superstar dropped further to 1.5 TVR (last week 1.9).

Comedy Circus ke Ajoobe on Sony averaged 1.1 TVR (last week 1.3).

Star Plus' crime fiction, Arjun, recorded 0.9 TVR (last week 1.0).

Adalat on Sony recorded 0.8 TVR (last week 0.9).
